Thundercat Template

Thundercats are species of felinoid humanoids who live in an unknown region of the Thundercloud cloud galaxy on a planet called Thundera. They are a relatively high tech and educated society with MDC and space travel capabilities. They have an ongoing feud and an on again off again war of sorts with the nearby world of Plundarr.

Generic Bonuses - Males: +2d6 PS, +1d6 PP. Females: +1d6 PS, +2d6 PP. Thundercats also get one additional action per combat round at level 1. (So 5 if a Man-at_arms or Adventurer, 4 if a scholar, and 3 if a "normal" person.

Hit Points - +10 at 1st level, then +2d6 per level starting at level 2

SDC - +1d6x10 to class base.

So majority of Thundercats will be stronger (higher PS), more dexterous (higher PP), and tougher (higher Hit points and SDC) than humans on average. Individual racial types may surpass humans in other specified areas.

Racial Types:

Leoera - (Lion-O) (Lion) - all around strength, power and toughness. +1d6 IQ, +1d6 PS (Augmented level), +1d6 MA, +1d6 ME, +3d6 SPD (added after speed is calculated). Least Common and THE Royal Bloodline of the world. 1% of the population is of this type.

Pardusera - (Panthro) (Leopard/Jaguar) - strength +1d6 PS (Android Level). 5% of the population is of this type with many being offshoots from the Royal Bloodlines.

Tigrisera - (Tygra) (Tiger) - intelligence. +2d6 IQ. 5% of the population is of this type with many being offshoots from the Royal Bloodlines.

Jubatusera - (Cheetara) (Cheetah) - speed +3d6x10 (after speed is calculated) (Note - Cheetara would be considered the extreme upper end of this attribute at about 200, or about 150mph, where max is potentially 200+). 5% of the population is of this type with many being offshoots from the Royal Bloodlines.

Rufusera - (Lynx-O) (Bobcat/Lynx) - wisdom +2d6 PE. 9% of the population is of this type. Though uncommon there are some who are part of the Royal Bloodline.

Concolorera - (Pumyra) (Cougar) - cunning +1d6 IQ, +1d6 MA. 25% of the population is of this type and they are the second most common sub type on the Thundercats. Though uncommon there are some who are part of the Royal Bloodline.

Lybicaera - (Wilykit and Wilykat) (Wildcats) - ingenuity +2d6 MA. Most common type of Thundercat and the what most civilians are. 50% of the population is of this type. Though rare there are some who are part of the Royal Bloodline.

Note - All bonuses above (Generic and sub-type) are in addition, and stackable, to the standard character generation die rolls.

Alignment - Any

OCC - Any Man-at-Arms, Adventurer, Non-magic and Non-Psychic Scholar, or Normal/Civilian OCCs are available

Average Height - Male: 6ft 4in, Female: 5ft 8in

Average Weight - Male: 240lbs, Female: 165lbs

Racial Skills:

All Thundercats typically have HTH training of generic Expert. OCCs may allow for other arts to be known.

Weapon Proficiency - Pick one Ancient

Racial Abilities:

The Calling - All Thundercats will feel the call of the Sword of Omens. Range 100 miles

Heightened Sense of Hearing - see minor super power in Heroes Unlimited

Heightened Sense of Smell - See minor power in Heroes Unlimited

Nightvision - See minor super power in Heroes Unlimited

Location - Isolated and yet unexplored area of the Thundercloud Galaxy, (Phaseworld/Three Galaxies)

Contact with others - Only with the planet Plundarr (See: isolated and yet unexplored area of the Thundercloud Galaxy)

Tech level - Space (Non-FTL), MDC.

Magic ability and knowledge - Low. Special application (Sword of Omens etc)

Psionics - Minor (typically) and uncommon.
