Background (wookieepedia)

Falcon NEGVV

The Millennium Falcon, originally designated YT 492727ZED and formerly known as the Stellar Envoy, was a Corellian YT-1300 light freighter built around 60 BBY. Earning a legendary status under their ownership, the ship was most famously used by the smugglers Han Solo and Chewbacca before, during, and following the Galactic Civil War.

The YT-1300f light freighter designated unit YT 492727ZED was built at Orbital Assembly Facility 7, a Corellian shipyard owned by the Corellian Engineering Corporation, more than 90 years before the Battle of Starkiller Base. As was intended, the ship began its career as an intermodal tug pushing container in orbital freight yards. It once worked in the galaxy's busiest spacelanes. Just after the Battle of Coruscant, it was docking in the Senate Office Building. Inconsistent records from the Bureau of Ships and Services indicate that the YT 492727ZED changed ownership more than once via unregistered transactions.

Life Support: This system is what controls the atmosphere, internal gravity, and temperatures to optimum levels for the pilot of the vessel. The system can support the crew for up to 2 months before needing to be serviced/replenished somehow. Combat operations however will reduce this by up to 75%.

Passive Sensors: The passive sensor array is used to scan areas without attracting attention. It includes the following systems as part of it's detection operations: Dedicated Energy Receptors, Mass Detectors, Electro-photo Receptors, Aural Sensors, Energy Scanners, Various Electromagnetic Scanners, Proximity Sensors. Range: 30 000km. Imparts a +5% bonus to the sensor operations skill.

Scanning Sensors: The scanning sensor array is an active system used to locate any ships or anomalies within range. It includes the following detection systems as part of it's operations: Dedicated Energy Receptors, Mass Detectors, Electro-photo Receptors, Aural Sensors, Environmental Sensors, Energy Scanners, Full Spectrum Transceivers, Life Form Indicators, Terrain Following Sensors, Active Trackers, Radar, Lidar, Inertial Tracking Devices, Thermal Imaging Arrays, and Various Electromagnetic Scanners. Range: 60 million kilometers. Imparts a bonus of +1% to the sensor operations skill.

Search Sensors: The searching sensor array is a detailed system that is more highly calibrated and accurate than its scanning counterpart. These sensors can only be directed in one direction at a time generally speaking so usually are set to "rotate" thru the various arcs of the ship. It includes the following detection systems as part of it's operations: Dedicated Energy Receptors, Mass Detectors, Electro-photo Receptors, Aural Sensors, Environmental Sensors, Energy Scanners, Full Spectrum Transceivers, Life Form Indicators, Active Trackers, and Low level thermal imaging sensor. Range: 75 000km. Imparts a bonus of +15% to the sensor operations skill.

Focusing Sensors: The focusing sensor array is a set of systems that are attuned much more finely and can determine even more details in regards to things within an area of the scanning systems. It includes the following detection systems as part of it's operations: Dedicated Energy Receptors, Mass Detectors, Electro-photo Receptors, Aural Sensors, Environmental Sensors, Energy Scanners, Full Spectrum Transceivers, Life Form Indicators, Active Trackers, Variable band optical imaging cluster, Low level thermal imaging sensor, Short range Primary Threat Analysis Grids. Range: 4 000km diameter. Imparts a bonus of +20% to the sensor operations skill.

Direct Communication Transceiver - Also known as a comlink, this system is used aboard the starship, mainly for short-range communications such as landing/departure clearances and formation commands. This system can be encrypted as necessary. Range: 100 000km. Imparts a bonus of +10% to the Communications/Radio Basic skill.

Subspace Transceiver - The subspace transceiver, also known as a subspace comm, subspace radio, hypertransceiver, subspace vox, or wide-band radio receptor, is a standard device used for instantaneous, faster-than-light communications between nearby systems. Similar to its shorter-ranged cousin, the comlink, subspace transceivers rely on energy to broadcast signals. The starships carries this unit to broadcast distress signals and other important messages. They use subspace as the communications medium. This system can be encrypted as necessary. Range: 25 lightyears with an emergency beacon that has a range of 50 lightyears. Imparts a bonus of +5% to the Communications/Radio Basic skill. This system typically has a lag of approximately one second per 25% of the systems range.

Electronic Warfare Systems - These systems help interfere with an opposing ships sensor and targeting systems to give the ship an advantage in travelling and combat. A successful Electronic warfare skill imparts a penalty of -10% to any opposing ships trying to detect the vessel or communicate with it's allies as well as a penalty of -2 to strike in combat. Opposing sensor operators can try to break through the interference at penalty of -20% to their sensor operations skill. Range is equal to the scanning range of the ship's sensors.

Combat Computer and Targeting Sensors - this system has a significant database in regards to vehicles, vessels, interstellar phenomena, and the particulars of each in order to identify the targets being tracked accurately. Imparts a strike bonus of +3.

Navigation Computer - Also known as a NaviComp, this separate computer takes all gathered sensor data along with all known navigational data available in it's database to calculate the safest routes through through a star system. The T-65, however, must use an Astromech Droid to make jumps through hyperpace.

Ship's Transponder – The transponder signal or code is a signal that is used for registration, identification, and tracking the starship.

Sensor Jammers - Gives opponents a -20% to sensor rolls to identify but +5% to detect.

Computer Core - The computer core stores the main operating systems and databases needed for the operation of the ship. In addition, the computer cores store all gathered data, as well as research, entries, and logs of the crew, collected by the ship and it's crew during it's voyages. Typically, a core will also receive uploads of new data when visiting starbases and friendly facilities. The ship has 1 computer cores on board. The computer on board give a +5% bonus to research skills due to the databases of information in them.

Artificial Intelligence Systems - Similar to a droid brain, these systems typical manage the computers and systems at the command to the Captain and/or the crew of the ship. The system imparts a bonus of +10% to a wide range of skills when used by the crew including various repair skills.

Crew Quarters: The crew quarters and bunk areas on board the ship. Generally crew and passengers are bunked in threes.

Crew Lounge - This is an area of the ship where the crew relax and engage in a variety of games and activities of recreation. It also has a small autochef and galley so the crew can feed themselves.

Med-Station - This is an area on the ship where first aid and medical supplies can be found. Access to the Med-Station gives a +10% bonus to any medical skills in regards to healing or dealing with a being's injuries and ailments.

Consumables Storage - This is simply the storage of food stuffs, medical supplies, exotic items, and a variety of perishable items.

Cargo Bay - As it states, simple bays where cargo and goods are stowed during travel. Each bay will have it's own low power tractor beam for moving cargo around and on to or off of the ship.
