AR - 16
Armour - automatically stops up to and including any weapons that do up to the equivalent of 2d4x10+20/100md per blast.

NOTES:

1 - Depleting the MDC of the Engineering Section will put the ship out of commission. All internal systems will shut down, including life support and internal gravity.

1B - Destroying the Bridge will automatically switch control to the battle bridge with no loss of effectiveness however if the battle bridge is disabled or destroyer then all control is switched to main engineering. Once control is established in engineering the efficiency of the vessel will be affected as follows: -5 to all combat rolls and attacks per melee are halved along with any piloting rolls being made are at a penalty of -20%

2 - Destroying the main sensor array will deprive the ship of all forms of long range communications, detection and targeting. The range and targeting capabilities of the secondary systems are equal to that of a shuttlecraft at best. The ship can still operate, but is at -3 on initiative, -3 to strike, and number of attacks per melee of the weapon systems are reduced by half.

3 - Destroying a hanger will prevent the ship from launching shuttles etc from that hanger until it is repaired. The main hanger can launcher or recover 3 shuttles per melee while the secondary hangers can launch or recover 1 per melee.

4 - Depleting the MDC of the the Warp nacelles will force the ship to rely on its Impulse engines. Depleting the MDC of the Warp nacelles AND Impulse engines will leave the ship adrift in space with very minimal movement allowed by its docking thrusters. If in an atmosphere, the ship will crash.

5 - Shields regenerate at 250 mdc per "side" per melee. Only if a generator is damaged will the ability for shields to regenerate be hampered. Also note that up to 10% of the maximum shield value of any side can be rerouted to another side each melee. For the Valdore that means you can reroute up to 2200mdc of shields from any side to another each melee.

SPEEDS:

Realspace: Class 7 Impulse Drives propel the Valdore Heavy Class through space at significant velocities. For interplanetary travel within a Star System it can travel at a Full Impulse rate of 13-SU per hour (260 million kilometers). Maximum Impulse is 52-SU per hour (1.04 billion kilometers) but Maximum Impulse puts incredible strain on the impulse drives if used for prolonged periods of time. For combat purposes the Valdore can maneuver at a rate of 35-MU. Thrusters - Typically used for maneuvering near large objects, space stations, or other vessels, thrusters do not move the ship at any "usable" velocity being typically only as high as 100m/second (equal to 360km/h) at most. Also used for orbital station keeping.

Warpdrive (TNG Scale): Cruise Warp 6 (0.045 Light years per hour), Maximum Cruise Warp 9.2 (0.186 Light years per hour), Maximum Warp 9.95 (0.477 Light years per hour) for 10 hours.

Thrusters: Typically used for maneuvering near large objects, space stations, or other vessels, thrusters do not move the ship at any "usable" velocity being typically only as high as 100m/second (equal to 360km/h) at most. Also used for orbital station keeping.

Maximum Range: 3 years of constant deployment

Systems included; Wide angle active EM scanner, Narrow angle active EM scanner, gamma ray telescopes, Variable frequency EM flux sensor, Lifeform analysis instrument cluster, Parametric subspace field stress sensor, Gravimetric distortion scanner, Passive neutrino imaging scanner and Thermal imaging arrays. Gives a +20% bonus to Sensor Skill Rolls in High Resolution mode and a +15% bonus to sensor skill rolls in Low to Mid Resolution mode.

Short Range Sensor Systems - Calibrated for use while in a star system. Range is several million kilometers. Systems included are the same as those used by the Long Range Sensor Systems. Gives same bonuses as the Long Range Sensor Systems.

Navigational Sensor Systems - Focused through the Long or Short Range Sensor Systems depending on the ships current location and mission. Systems included; Quasar telescope, Wide angle IR source tracker, narrow angle IR/UV/Gamma Ray imager, Passive subspace multibeacon receiver, Stellar graviton detectors, High energy charged particle detectors, Galactic plasma wave cartographic processor, Federation timebase beacon receiver and Stellar pair coordinate imager. Gives a +15% bonus to sensor skill rolls.

Systems included ; Wide angle EM radiation imaging scanner, Quark population analysis counter, Z-range particulate spectrometry sensor, High energy proton spectrometry cluster, Gravimetric distortion mapping scanner, Steerable lifeform analysis instrument cluster, Active magnetic interferometry scanner, Low frequency EM flux sensor, Localized subspace fields stress sensor, Parametric subspace field stress sensor, Hydrogen filter subspace flux sensor, Linear calibration subspace flux sensor, Variable band optical imaging cluster, Virtual aperture graviton flux spectrometer, High resolution graviton flux spectrometer, Very low energy graviton spin polarimeter, Passive imaging gamma interferometry sensor, Low level thermal imaging sensor, Fixed angle gamma frequency counter and Virtual particle mapping camera. Gives a bonus of +25% to sensor skill rolls.

Grapplers - Grapplers are a metal cable with an effector on the end that could be launched by the starship to grapple objects in space. The grapplers utilized a magnetic lock device to clamp to objects allowing them to be drawn in closer or towed. This is only used as a back up system to the Tractor Beam if it is inoperable or not to be used for some reason. Range is: 500m

Tractor Beam - The tractor beam or stabilizing beam is an attenuated linear graviton beam used by the starship to control the movement of external objects. The tractor beam places spatial stresses on the object in specific areas, allowing it to hold the "tractored" object in a fixed location or alter its position and/or trajectory. While tractor beams are normally used to pull objects towards the ship – usually to tow objects – conversely, they could also be set to repel objects. They are most often employed to tow a disabled or vulnerable ship to safety. Tractor beams are generally only used at sub-warp velocities. To safely tow a vessel at warp speed, the target vessel's engines had to be deactivated to avoid shearing forces against towing vessel. A tractor beam can be used at warp speed only if both vessels' speeds were exactly matched. Range is: 20km. Opposing ships can make a piloting roll at a penalty of -25% to break free of the tractor beam.

Computer Core - The computer core stores the main operating systems and databases needed for the operation of the ship. In addition the computer cores store all gathered data, as well as research, entries, and logs of the crew, collected by the ship and it's crew during it's voyages. Typically a core will also receive uploads of new data when visiting starbases and friendly facilities. The Vadore Class has 3 Computer Cores standard.

Electronic Warfare Systems - These systems help interfere with an opposing ships sensor and targeting systems to give the ship an advantage in travelling and combat. A successful Electronic warfare skill imparts a penalty of -20% to any opposing ships trying to detect the vessel or communicate with it's allies as well as a penalty of -4 to strike depending on era in combat. Opposing sensor operators can try to break through the interference at penalty of -22% to their sensor operations skill.

Replicators - The replicator is a device that uses matter-energy conversion technology similar to a transporter to produce almost anything from the ship's matter reserves. It is also capable of inverting its function, thus recycling the item. Items thus disposed of serve to replenish the matter reserves and fuel the replicator.

Replicators are capable of producing food as fresh and tasty as non-replicated foodstuffs, inorganically materialized out of patterns used by the transporters. Most people find replicated foods and drinks to taste exactly the same as "real" food, although some people claim to be able to tell the difference. Furthermore, replicators can be programmed to produce foodstuffs of acceptable "nutritional value" despite resembling more indulgent items. Some people didn't learn to cook without a replicator.

Once a meal is finished or items use has been fulfilled, the used items/uneaten/inedible portions can be placed back inside the replicator to be automatically recycled. Replicators also recycle waste produced by the living beings/creatures on board - including fecal material - to provide the raw material for the matter storage tanks for use in replicators. Such material was deconstructed down to the atomic level, and then recombined as needed into foodstuffs and other products.

In addition to foodstuffs, replicators can be used for replicating an almost limitless range of other objects. Complex devices, weapons, machine components, clothing, medication, coins, musical instruments, antique furniture, and a wide range of other items. Industrial replicators could even be used to replicate heavier machine parts, to help build factories, power plants etc.

Users can program their own replication patterns into the replicator, such as a particular recipe for soup, a larger duplicate of a complex item, or an unusual device such as a wheelchair. Replicators include built-in scanners, allowing someone to make copies of an item without understanding its internal workings.

The full range of meals programmed into replicators is limited to senior officers through the use of an access card, or certain areas only frequented by senior officers have a replicator that could freely dispense higher quality recipes to anyone. Some types of meals are simply limited by volume, such as producing only one slice of pizza at a time. Limited recipes included are a variety of Romulan meals and delicacies.

Replicators are theoretically capable of creating artificial substitutes for natural organs for use in certain transplants, such as eyes or lungs. A genetronic replicator can extrapolate actual organs for use in medical transplants from a DNA sample, though this use is experimental. (more widely used in the 2380s and beyond)

Replicators keep logs of their use.

Transporters - The transporter is a type of teleportation machine, or simply teleporter. It is a subspace device capable of almost instantaneously transporting an object from one location to another, by using matter-energy conversion to transform matter into energy, then beam it to or from a chamber, where it is reconverted back or materialize into its original pattern. Constitution Class Ships have 4 Transporter Rooms as well as Transporter Pads in all Cargo Bays. Standard range of the Transporters is approximately 40,000km

Cloaking Device - The cloaking device, also known as a cloaking system, cloaking shield or invisibility screen, is a form of stealth technology that uses selective bending of light (and other forms of energy) to render a starship or other object completely invisible to the electromagnetic spectrum and most sensors. Effectively invisible to any and all detection unless the operator is specifically looking for a cloaked ship and then detection is still at a penalty of -35%. Use of a tachyon detection grid will automatically detect any cloaked vessels travelling through it. While in use the ships shields and weapons cannot be used.

FACILITIES OF NOTE

Scientific Laboratory Mission Modules - These labs are typically modular or removable and interchangeable. Each module is designed and created to focus on specific areas of scientific study including but not limited to astrophysics, bio-genetics, botanical, geology, theoretical physics, xenobiology, chemistry, archaeology, engineering, and more. Each Mission Module typically has a team of anywhere from 10 to 30 personnel assigned to it depending on the mission and area of study being undertaken. Along with the dedicated team of specialists the module itself is equipped with extensive and cutting edge equipment dedicated to the scientific pursuit that the module is designed around. This equipment ranges from survey packs for the crew to take with them on away missions, to all manner of scientific testing, and survey equipment. Holo projectors, and many types of hyper advanced scanners of every kind could be found among Starfleet's tools of the trade in each dedicated laboratory. Use of such a facility grants a bonus of +20% to any skills pertinent to what the Module is focused on.

Holodeck - This facility creates an artificial yet fully interactive and immersive holographic environment for those inside to take part in. A vastly wide variety of places and locations can be duplicated or programmed into the computer. The system is advanced enough so items or "beings" that are to be physically interacted with are imparted with a force-field contoured to their outer shell to allow physical contact between living participant and holographic representation. Replicators are also employed to further enhance the immersion of the facility so that if a liquid is thrown or fallen into, or food spilled and so on, those involved will end up wet, stained, slimed, etc. Any matter resources used in this manner are immediately recycled back into the matter storage units for reuse. The facility has safety protocols set at default to avoid grievous injuries or unauthorized creation of sentient programs and weapons/items. This can be overridden of course but takes a high-level command authorization to do so. The Valdore class has 10 Holodecks of varying size.

Crew Quarters - The majority of the enlisted crew and junior officers shared quarters and bunk areas on board the ship. Generally Junior Officers bunked in pair while enlisted personnel bunked in fours, sixes or eights.

Officer Quarters - The starship features separate quarters for higher-ranked officers. These staterooms were composed of two or more areas, featuring separate bed and bathrooms and a dedicated work and living area.

Guest Quarters - this is a living space assigned to a temporary resident of ship. Standard guest quarters on a starship were considered of better accommodation equal to that of the ship's officers.

VIP and Captain's quarters - Each starship typically features a number of VIP staterooms, reserved for guests. Usually, the accommodations of the ship's commanding officer were similar to these staterooms, being slightly larger and better equipped than the standard officer's quarters.

Mess Hall/Crew Lounge - This is where crew members can relax and enjoy a meal or a quick snack in a social setting. It is also the place where officials, such as ambassadors of other worlds, can be entertained. Gatherings Are also held there by the crew in general. The person in charge of activities within the mess hall holds the title of mess officer and is full Lieutenant. This officer is usually consulted when special events are being planned.

Consumables Storage - This is simply the storage of food stuffs, medical supplies, exotic items, and a variety of perishable items.

Gym - The gymnasium is an area of the starship which is dedicated to physical fitness and exercise. It also allows the practice of self defense techniques and some sports among other physical activities.

Shuttle Bay/Hanger - Storage and upkeep of all carried craft is done here. Also the bay is equipped with a moderately powered tractor beam to assist with launch, landing, and recovery of damaged shuttles or craft.

Stellar Cartography - Stellar cartography is an area of a starship dedicated to the science and practice of charting planets or space as well plotting potential flight paths of previously unknown objects and phenomena. It falls under the direction of the department head of stellar sciences department. Gives a bonus of +20% to astronomy, astrometrics, and astrophysics skills.

Cargo Bays - As it states, these are simple bays where cargo and goods are stowed during travel. Each bay will have it's own life support controls, low power tractor beams, as well as stasis fields and transporters typically calibrated for non living material.

Raw Material Storage - Simply put, this is the storage for all the "matter" used for food synthesizer operations.

Captain's Ready Room - This is a personal office reserved for the commanding officer of the starship and is typically accessed from the bridge. Here, the captain can engage in administrative work with all relevant office equipment at hand without interfering with bridge operations while having instant access to the bridge in the event of a crisis. In addition, this room is usually the preferred place where the captain could hold private discussions and/or receive classified communications. In the absence of the ship's commanding officer, the use of the ready room accordingly falls to whichever officer is in command of the vessel at the time.

Sickbay/Medical - Sickbay, also known as the dispensary or the med-bay, is the main medical center aboard the starship. The section is presided over by the chief medical officer (CMO), a senior staff member. The CMO is supported by various medical practitioners. The area is also used for certain analyses of new lifeforms the starship might encounter, and for developing treatments for unknown diseases or illnesses. When rendering aid to a stricken planet or spacecraft, the sickbay staff treats and cares for the wounded.

Sickbay Intensive care unit - Three bio-beds generally line the walls of sickbay's intensive care unit, or ICU; these are for patients receiving medical care and are equipped with bio-function monitors.

Sickbay Surgical facilities - Sickbay also has surgical beds, where major surgeries are performed and critical patients are treated. A large, sophisticated sensor cluster is installed directly above this bed. Working in conjunction with a medical tricorder, the sensor suite can give detailed information about a patient's condition. The bed is also designed to use a surgical support frame. This bed is located in the center of the main sickbay room. If necessary, surgery can be conducted in the intensive care ward if there is an overflow of patients or if another patient is present to donate blood.

Sickbay Laboratories - Sickbay has a small laboratory facility attached to the ICU. The chief medical officer or other associated personnel can monitor experiments or run tests here during their duty shift. The laboratory is equipped with a full bio-isolation field.

CMO's office - The chief medical officer's office is also located in or near sickbay. As with the captain's ready room, it is an area for the CMO to work in privacy or conduct meetings with patients, staff, and others. Its close location allows the CMO to be present in sickbay almost immediately. The space can be personalized, and the chief medical officer can use plants or paintings for decoration.

Other features of Sickbay - Other treatment facilities available in a sickbay include physical therapy rooms, OB/GYN and nursery areas, and an emergency bio support unit. A stasis unit is also available, used to temporarily place patients in suspended animation for later treatment. A morgue facility is also part of sickbay although autopsies are performed in the main sickbay.

Sickbay Supplies - Sickbays Are well stocked with a variety of medical equipment and supplies. Much of it is left out on tables or benches for use by the medical crew, but some items are stored in cargo crates. A standard food replicator was also found in sickbay.

Sickbay Emergency situations - Triage: In the event a large scale disaster or humanitarian crisis is encountered by the starship, cargo bays and shuttle-bays can be used as triage centers and even morgues if necessary. Designated environmental shelters can also be converted for medical use.

Sickbay grants a bonus of +27% to medical personnel and whatever medical and scientific skills are needed in regards to medical applications.
